The history of Garnet dates back to the Bronze Age (more than 5,000 years ago), when it was a very popular gemstone. According to Christian and Jewish mythologies, during the Great Flood a radiant red Garnet guided the way for Noah, ultimately leading his ark to salvation.

10/11/03-I come to look at this man-made rock from time to time. Today I stayed a few seconds longer than I usually do. Won't go into detail as to what I see here, but it brings pleasant memories for the most part. Especially the footprints in different colors. And I see the sunshine and happiness in a bottle with cork-type top on it, to be easily opened if I choose to do so by dwelling on the good things and holding on to my faith in God. Almost like Jesus is in that bottle where I "try" to put him when I don't feel very Christ-like. God's still watching me and over me though, the bottle is clear. And I am very thankful.
